The fluid coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has immeasurably affected events worldwide as state and national governments have banned gatherings and instituted social distancing and quarantine measures to curb the spread of the virus.

According to the Centers for Disease Control large events and mass gatherings can contribute to the spread of COVID-19 via travelers who attend these events and introduce the virus to new communities. Examples of such events include conferences, festivals, parades, concerts, sporting events, weddings, and other types of assemblies such as schools, churches and workplaces.

In light of this, the Patcha Foundation is cancelling the following 2020 programs:

The CASEC Information Exchange conference on May 2, 2020

Visit CASEC Information Exchange Page

The CASEC Medical Mission on June 7 through June 10, 2020

Visit CASEC Medical Mission Page

The Volunteer Enrichment Forum on June 10 through June 12, 2020

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and act accordingly. The Patcha Foundation is exploring virtual options to continue our effective work to the community. Expect more information to be provided shortly.
